Young Enterprise — Empowering Young Innovators
Young Enterprise (YES) is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading provider of youth entrepreneurship education. For 45 years, YES has equipped rangatahi with the skills, confidence, and real-world experience to turn ideas into action.
Each year, YES supports over 5,000 young people from more than 200 secondary schools, spanning Northland to Southland, to develop entrepreneurial capability, financial literacy, and future focused skills that prepare them for work, further study, and life.
Through the Duke of Edinburgh Cup NZ, your participation directly supports:
- Hands on enterprise programmes where students, create, launch and run real businesses
- Financial capability education embedded across our programmes, reaching thousands of young people annually
- Mentorship and ecosystem connections, linking students with business leaders, entrepreneurs and industry experts
